Being Over Doing

This weekend we unpacked our last box, organized the last closet, and finished making homes for those odd and end random things in the corners of the garage.

We moved into our new home in June.

My old self would have had it all done in three days.

My new self prioritizes living.

Being over doing.

We have have enjoyed everyday of living in this outdoor play ground.

We’ve hosted, we traveled, and we have spent many days resting on the porch and couch.

Here’s the thing.

I knew it would get done, and I also know there’s always more to do.

What we don’t know is what tomorrow is going to bring.

If this year has taught us anything it has taught us this.

Let’s hold the moments as sacred, our days as gifts, our people as treasures.

Our health, our time, and our relationships are our true wealth.
