Soul connection

We fell in love with each other’s spirits first.

Yes we met at bar, and sparks flew that night but I told him I wasn’t dating at the time and I was honoring that commitment to myself.

So he called me everyday.

We talked for hours.

We were getting to know one another so well over the phone we were already falling in love.

Two months of this went on before I agreed to have dinner with him.

He said he forgot what I looked like. (There was no social media or smart phones back then.)

When our eyes met for the second time we both melted.

Of course, he would be the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes on, and I would be his dream girl.

But it is our intimacy that will outlast our physical forms.
