The Gift of Surrender

Bobby and Lily just got back from UPW. They both had the most incredible breakthroughs. And although it was planned months ago, it was such perfect timing, as always.

We sat around the fire pit last night debriefing as a family, something we do weekly to share our hearts, and what we are learning.

And once again I am humbled and in awe of God's grace and goodness.

Everything I was hearing was everything I had been praying for and so much more.

Raising teens is not simple. Raising kids in today’s world is not simple. Living in general in the times we are in is not simple.

But it’s when I am brought to my knees in surrender, that I often see God move in the most miraculous of ways.

So I hope this serves as encouragement for you today that whatever you are going through or if the weight of the world is just too heavy, to lay it down.

When we get out of the way, we make room for God to come in and do more than we could even know to ask for. 🤍
