Ayurveda

I’m halfway through Ayurveda school year 1.

I am learning so much, and so much of what I’m learning is reinforcing what I already know too.

The three pillars of health in Ayurveda are food, sex, and sleep, which is awesome to me because these are the three things I’ve majorly prioritized since being married and becoming a Mamma.

And I love that their first protocol for any symptom, condition, or disease is to look at lifestyle.

Starting with stress management, addressing the toxins and trauma in our life, then the body.

Ayurveda believes all diseases and disorders begin in the mind and gut.

And so do I.

It wasn’t until I started healing my gut twenty years ago that I began healing my life.

And when I’m out of balance now, my gut and thoughts are the first to let me know.

It’s all interconnected.

The approach I take with my clients is the same.

We look at every area of their life and get to know their unique makeup before we decide what’s needed to bring greater harmony.

We start with daily habits, mindset, and beliefs and add positive and supportive behaviors rather than focusing on fixing, dieting, or detoxing.

Because the reality is the healthier our inner world is, the healthier our outer one becomes.

And it gets so much easier to make better choices when you have the energy and internal capacity to do so.

Quite possibly, my favorite part is the approach an Ayurveda practitioner takes.

It’s not wait to see me when you having trouble, but rather create a lifestyle of regular support and investing in your health and well-being, body, soul and spirit.

For this is the foundation for the life you live and legacy you will leave. 🌱🌻☀️ 🤍
