How good can it get
Life has been extra rich lately.
Abundant on a whole new level.
And it’s no surprise that it followed a season of contraction.
Expansion always does.
I’ve been there before, so I recognized it.
At first, I tend to resist the pain of constriction, but eventually, I get tired of suffering.
And I've learned the only way to end the tension is to let go and surrender to it.
To trust it.
To reframe the story about what is happening to what I believe would happen through it.
Just like giving birth, when we breathe into the contraction, we allow the baby to move through the delivery canal, and labor speeds up.
When we numb ourselves or fight against it, we slow it down.
I lived this long before I entered the world of coaching or energetics.
I’ve since walked hundreds of others through this process.
And like the support a doula or midwife brings during birth, having a framework to understand where we are in our process is extremely helpful.
Birth and life can be excruciating or orgasmic.
It's all in how we train our nervous system to experience it.
And for me, there is no limit to how good it can get.
